YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OPTIONS IN THIS SETTLEMENT:

SUBMIT A CLAIM

This is the only way to receive benefits under the Settlement. You may submit a claim form online at www.ChineseLaminateSettlement.com. A downloadable version is also available on the website. Claims must be submitted no later than April 14, 2020.

EXCLUDE YOURSELF

If you opt out or exclude yourself, you will not receive any benefits from the Settlement, but you will keep any rights you currently have to separately sue the Defendant for the claims that are the subject of this lawsuit. The deadline to exclude yourself is April 14, 2020. See question 16 for the requirements to exclude yourself.

OBJECT TO THE SETTLEMENT

You may write to the Court and all counsel explaining why you object to the Settlement. Any objection must be filed with the Court no later than April 14, 2020. See questions 15 and 16 below for additional requirements.

GO TO THE HEARING

If you do not exclude yourself, you may ask to speak in Court about the Settlement. The Final Approval Hearing is scheduled for May 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. You must file an objection to speak at the hearing. See question 20 below.

DO NOTHING AT ALL

If you do nothing, you will not receive benefits from the Settlement and you will give up any rights you currently have as specified in the Settlement Agreement to separately sue the Defendant for the claims being resolved by the Settlement.
